Best New MLM Opportunities!

Now don’t get me wrong. I am not promoting or suggesting you sign up to an MLM company. However, I do know that people are always being approached by family, friends, and strangers to be recruited to the next best MLM company to come in their area. So I figured, if you are considering to buy into the sales pitch for the next best network marketing company, you should at least be signing up to a statistically proven top MLM program out there.

Best New MLM Opportunities

Depending on your age and experience this may be the first time someone approached you to start your home based, small initial investment business by signing up as a distributor for a product that will only skyrocket in sales over the next year. You will be told that the time to sign up is now! Sign up before the local area residents realize how all other products are not able to compete with the effectiveness of this new innovative and scientifically proven product.

Ya right, like we never heard that line before.

That line comes straight out of the sales pitch book for dummies! Most often used when MLM distributors are trying to recruit YOU as their next potential downline distributor. They will tell you that they know exactly how to grow your MLM business, how to get leads and get new customers for your business.

There is nothing wrong with this sales pitch. We hear it all the time with any salesperson trying to have you buy something. They tell you things like,”The price will go back to regular price tomorrow…so buy it now!” or “This is the last one, and I had someone interested in buying it this morning, I will not be able to hold onto it for you.” So it should be no surprise that MLM recruiters will work on your fears to have you sign up there and then before you research the company and product. “Sign up today otherwise you will be ten positions further down the line tomorrow, I have people waiting to get on, but I want you as my top guy!”

Buy Now MLM Sales Tactics

Lesson learned…Not!

Over the years, I’ve learned it is better to sleep on it. Your brain has time to process the information, and you will also have some time to do some research…which is likely why you are here now. Good for you for stopping to think about it.

Unfortunately, my habitual ways of buy now think later still kicks in now and then. Maybe once I’m 100 years old I will have learned my lesson.

So even though I’ve been approached and burned in the past, I still have moments I get caught up in the hype of the sales pitch. It is for that reason they continue to use the same tactic, and these companies continue to make huge profits.

What’s that saying? A sucker born every minute. I guess that makes me a born again sucker!

One thing I have learned without any doubt is that there are better ways to earn extra money than joining an MLM. I’ll talk about how I got into affiliate marketing further down.

Now time for some of the best new MLM companies out there.

1- ZynTravel

Website: Zyndio.com

Launched late 2015 and based out of Scottsdale Arizona. As a ZynTravel affiliate, you have access to discounts on resorts, hotels and timeshares worldwide. You will have access to 400,000+ hotels worldwide with savings of up to 85%. You can create a whole travel package with airlines, car rentals, and clubs while cutting out third-party booking engines and pay yourself with bonuses instead.

Zyn Travel MLM Scam or Legit Option

They have 2 membership levels Gold $149 and Platinum $499; both membership levels have a $19.99 setup fee & $14.99-month fee. Each level provides you with a list of features. A Gold membership gives you 25% customer travel commission, customer referral program, customer 2×2 cycle bonus, customer travel bonus, customer matching bonus, customer bonus pool, $300 travel credit and a Gold Cycle-Pod of $300 each time completed. The Platinum level provides you all the same features as the Gold with an additional customer Lifestyle bonus and a global customer bonus, $750 travel credit and Platinum & Gold Cycle-Pod of $700 + $300 each time completed.

The idea of this MLM is that you get to visit exotic global destinations at unbelievable prices, build a business while helping others travel and you get to earn a residual income. It describes that you can earn while you travel. Once you are a member, you are provided marketing tools, training materials, webinars and conference calls.

This MLM would be best suited for those that enjoy traveling as it may provide you a way to get discounts and possibly earn a commission if you help others with their travel plans. Still too soon to say if one can make a living with this type of MLM but then again remember I question if anyone can make a living with MLMs.

2-Cabi

Website: Cabionline.com

Not all that new in the MLM business, created in 2002 but what is new is how it is starting to show some of the strongest upward trends. Cabi is currently in the top 3 trending MLMs this past month with 47.65% increase as reported by Quivex media.

Cabi MLM scam or Legit

Cabi carries a variety of clothing, jewelry, and accessories that members sell at home party environments. They describe the key to their success is that they are not only selling a product or brand but a lifestyle and connections. They inspire women to be confident, building relationships that provide a strong sense of community.

The MLm compensation plan consists of 3 ways to make an income. 1-Personal sales provide you with a commission of 25% to 33%. 2-You receive commissions on all the items your team sells. 3- Inventory sales- your initial investment or seasonal inventory is $2570 with shipping plus taxes. If you sell at least 70% of your seasonal inventory at 50% off, you will earn $3000.

The good thing about this type of MLM is the fact you have products where you can host home parties. This model has proven to be effective in maintaining a companies longevity such as Avon, Tupperware, and Pampered Chef to name a few. The downside is that the initial investment is quite high and with the possibility to earn $3000 from selling 70% of that inventory with 50% off tells me that the products must be marked up to very high prices which may make it a hard sell.

This type of MLM would be suited best for those willing to carry around boxes of inventory to people’s homes, do measurements, deal with returned products due to sizing issues,  really enjoy having up and coming styles so they won’t mind having inventory left over if they are unable to sell it.

3-Younique

Beauty and Fashion MLM launched in 2012. Similar to Cabi, members or I should say presenters promote their products trough home parties and a new trend of virtual online parties. They are unique in basing their sales through the use of social media.

Younique MLM Scam or Legit

The company creators are a brother and sister team, which also ran another for about 7 years preceding called Netsteps which made the Inc 500 list in 2010.

New presenters are taught how to apply their products and host home parties or can present online parties. The presenters are also supplied with a wealth of online marketing graphics and images that they can use on their social media pages.

The sign-up cost is a fee of $99 US to be a presenter. The fee covers the cost of a beauty kit which is described as having a worth of $225.00. That price actually doesn’t sound like a scam, compared to some other MLMs with their high up-front costs, some without any real product, but I digress, move on to the products.

The initial beauty kit is for demonstration purposes. The presenter will use the kit to use on themselves; then they can be utilized as a promotional image to share on social media. These images then can be used by any other presenter to use online.

The kit includes the following:

  • 1 Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes+
  • 1 Moodstruck Addiction Shadow Palette (palette will vary)
  • Angled Shadow / Sponge Brush
  • Beachfront Self-Tanning Body Lotion
  • Splurge Cream Shadow in Elegant
  • Cream Shadow Brush
  • Shine Eye Makeup Remover Cloths
  • Skin Care Sampler
  • Foundation Sampler
  • Bronzer Sampler
  • Pigment Sampler
  • Blush Sampler
  • Lip Gloss Sampler (Set of 10)
  • Lip Stain Sampler (Set of 7)
  • Shade Stick
  • White Charm
  • Black Oval Presenter Case
  • Presenter Guide
  • Catalog

Makeup Banner

Compensation plans is a mixture of earning enough sale points to maintain our active status, royalties or percentage of sales from 20% to 30% with added generation royalties.  There is, of course, a car incentive and chance to earn a trip to Cozumel, Mexico.

Younique is a relatively new MLM using modern day tools to help you sell your products. No need to lug around products if you do parties online and the products are shipped directly to the customer.

So with which MLM should I sign up?

Decisions

I say, none of them!

Sure these are some of the newest and trendiest MLMs out there as of now, but that doesn’t mean I think you should sign up to them. My wife and I know all about signing up to the best and newest MLMs out there. You can read more about that in some of our other blogs like this one here.

The reason I chose ZynTravel, Cabi, and Younique as the best newest MLMs is for the reason that they have something that members can use. Most people want to travel, so having the option to get some discounts doesn’t hurt should you not be all that successful in selling it to others. The Cabi and Younique have products that always has a market with clothing and makeup. The prices may be high for some but have you seen some of the store prices these days? These MLMs are not all that unreasonable in comparison.

I wrote earlier that I was a born again sucker. That is because my wife and I have signed up for a total of 3 MLMs so far…I say, so far, because who knows if we really learned our lesson. Every time we say never again…yet there we were 1, 2 and 3 times giving over our money. The third time is a funny story where I ended up getting my money back, but I’ll leave that for another blog.

You are probably wondering why I am telling you about the top MLM companies if I don’t suggest you sign up for them, right?

Don't Choose any MLM

It comes down to trying to help people first, become trustworthy and point them in the right direction. I tell you that I wish I had access to this type of information in my younger years.

I think one of the reasons you landed on this page was to look for a way to either earn extra money or make a living that allows you the flexibility to work your hours. Whatever your reasons I say don’t waste your time on MLMs. There is a reason some of them make billions in sales every year, and that is mainly because so many people quit before regaining their costs put into the company. Studies show that 90% plus of MLM members fails at restoring their initial expenditure, that is to say, they do not make any profit.

My recommendation is to stay clear of MLM opportunities. Start your own business, specifically an online business. You can certainly peruse some other options on my “Home-Based Business Option” page, but one thing you will notice in their descriptions on how to create a successful business is to have an online presence.

What if I told you there is nothing to fear when creating your website?

Build your successful online business

You probably don’t believe me. If that is the case all I can inform you that building a website is the easy part. Getting people to come see your site is the hardest. When I stumbled onto My #1 Recommended site, I already had some basic website building knowledge and had a couple of personal websites already, but I had no clue how to get people to visit my site other than word of mouth or invite my minimal amount of friends to visit.

I remembered seeing some young people making videos about how to find the best kimchi in Korea. How they started out as a hobby to help people that moved to Korea from other countries find the best kimchi that ended up leading them having an enormous following. They needed to stop their day job and hired 7+ people to run their website.

I wanted to learn how to have that kind of success. I searched for years only to get scammed to pay a few dollars here and there only to get useless information packages. Then as I was Googling “Kyani Scam” I landed on a fellow that was in pretty much the same situation that I am now. He fell for some money-making schemes in the past, but then he found a way to create a successful online business without any uplines, downlines or sidelines.

He created his website, and he was helping people to stay away from scams trying to take your money.

What sold me was the fact he directed me to a site that was free, no credit card to register and I was given up front answers to my questions.

Here is a quote I follow , “You don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.”

    Hi,
I agree with you that building your website is easy but getting people to view it is hard. Well, there’s no short-cut to any long term sustainable success. That’s my belief. I’ve joined Wealthy Affiliate last year and I found it to be free from that nonsense make money quick scam. As I learned, getting traffic to website is a continuous process of doing a few things right.

    • Paul says:

      Hello

The part that sold me on joining Wealthy Affiliate is exactly the same reason you described. They are no fast or quick money making schemes words spoken within their site.

In fact they tell you from the start it will take many hours of work and time for your site to mature before you see any traffic. Not to expect any real results at least 6 months into building your site, and that is if you work on it full-time daily.

      In summary

      MLM=bad

      Wealthy Affiliate=Good

I am a sucker at any MLM opportunities. They all seem to offer a great reward.
    I think I’m still in 3 MLMs.

Somehow, I never have work it out. I only use some of the products but failed miserably at building a network.

That is why I turned myself to building my own business. An online business. Yes, the business is still at its infant stage but I can see how great it will become.

Besides, I can channel my desire in writing to my blogs.

    • Paul says:

I hear you…just when I think never again they pull you in with their awesome looking pictures and videos of what we think will be a better life.

Then reality sinks in where you need to start bugging your family and friends to buy in, only to be disappointing when they decline or you feel really bad when nobody succeeds after putting thousands of dollars in for products worth a few dollars.

Like you I have turned to blogging, to try and help others stay clear of these money sucking MLM temptations.

Having the ability to write about my experiences also makes for a great release on built up frustrations for me.

I’m not sure if you are already a member but I found that My #1 Recommended site has provided me with the knowledge and tools to succeed.

      Cheers

I really like how you think about MLM, it is certainly not the best way to earn money in my book but I learnt a few things from looking at these top MLMs.

Either way, I think it’s better to promote to people online that are searching for a particular subject. I don’t feel it is worth the hassle to try an get every person you and those in your own social circles to buy your product. It’s odd to try to sell something of no value just for your own benefit (unless the product in question is of quality).

    Thanks for sharing!

    Cheers,

    Anh

    • Paul says:

      Thank you Anh

It is interesting to see so many of these companies flourish. There is definitely a market out there. I guess people feel they should help their family or friend start their MLM business. Unfortunately so many fail or give up these networking marketing businesses within the first 6 months. So those family or friends that helped out are now out of money that all went over to the upper level or those that created the MLMs.

I certainly do not suggest people sign up to any MLM. I think the best way to go is to start a small business from home from products or services that you create. Any of the following small business ideas can fit the bill, and your profit margin is much higher.

      All the Best!

I enjoyed your post on MLM opportunities. I admit that MLM is not for me, but I enjoy learning more about what is out there. As far as wealthy affiliate, I highly recommend it. I have built a website and learned so much. And I really love working on it! The skills I have learned from WA will also help me at work, so it is a win win. Thank you again!

    • Paul says:

I do believe that there are better ways of trying to earn an income from home than signing up to an MLM like Kyani. I agree that Wealthy Affiliate web-hosting site is an awesome place to learn how to build a successful online business. It is so cool to hear that what you have learned at Wealthy Affiliate has helped you at your work as well. I too was able to use some of my skills in creating a website that I share with my work colleagues, it has turned out to one of the main resources they use daily.

  5. Roger Hill says:

Ok, let me catch my breath. What a roller coaster ride this article is and yet. with every twist and turn, I was anxious to see what came next. In the end, like the kid at the carnival, I had to go back and read it again. From start to finish, it is packed with useful information delivered in warm and genuine manner. This is a great article that needs to go viral.

    • Paul says:

      Hey, Roger!

I hope you were able to land both feet on the ground at the end and see the important message I am trying to convey.

Some people just don’t want to hear the negatives. We are bombarded by positive quotes of the day that tell us we should think positive, don’t give up and just go for it.

Although that may hold true for some ventures in life, it is not the type of advice I suggest following when asked to join an MLM.

The choice is yours, but I do suggest something much more rewarding than trying to sell an over priced item so that the up line can make a profit.

I’m not saying give up on your hope and dreams, just choose your path wisely.

Provide good service to people and you will be successful.

I wrote a little blog about that here if you are interested called “Help First, Money Later

      Cheers

      Paul

  6. Erwin Singh says:

Wow I have been looking for MLM reviews that aren’t fake. I have not heard of these two and will definitely try them once i get the chance. I lovvveee to travel and will sign up just for the discounts. I don’t have much interest in the second however. You should do a WA comparison with MLMs. KEEP IT UP!!!

    • Paul says:

      Good idea!

I didn’t think of hat being that the business model is so different, but it would show the advantages and disadvantages of both types of businesses so people can make a better choice.

Thank you for the visit and the interest.

      Cheers

  7. Travis Smithers says:

For people to be involved with MLM’s, it helps that you use and want the product. What most people will discover is that they are paying extra money for the product to cover the expense of the compensation plan.

The other big problem is most people do not know how to do direct sales or recruit which has many people quitting.

Having your website to promote a product/service is the better way to go, and your #1 recommendation is a great place to get started.

    • Paul says:

      Hey Travis,

It is so true that many people do not know how to manage direct sales and I think that is a big reason we see the high number of people quitting.

Those making it to the top are good salespeople that, well, lets face it, they managed to sell the idea to those who sign up and will continue to get new people signing up daily. Like that old saying, “a sucker born every minute!”

There are other ways to make a supplemental income and my #1 recommended site can teach anybody how they can take your passion about something and make it into a viable business.

      Cheers

      Paul

  8. Tina says:

It just seems like there’s a stigma attach to MLM, something about it that’s not trustworthy. So I was a bit surprised that you offered some of the best MLMs. But what a twist when you said sign up with none of them!

So far Wealthy Affiliate seems to be the best place for learning how to make extra income. There’s really no upsell or pressure to sign up.

    • Paul says:

You got it! Unfortunately I do see so many people that have joined MLMs and still think that it is the best thing since sliced bread. They continue to sign up and convince themselves that it will work for them. I really can’t argue with them as there are a few people that do make it, same for those who buy lottery tickets, there are always a few big winners. really not worth the gamble in my book.

I have been with Wealthy Affiliate close to a year now and do not regret it one bit. Even if I don not make huge profits, it is still a great feeling to help people, no up sells and no pressure.

      Cheers

      Paul

  9. Shalene says:

    Hi!
Your website has a lot of great information. I’m currently in an MLM and, for me, just the learning that I’m getting is already valuable – same as at Wealthy Affiliate (still have loads to learn).
Thank you for your honest reviews, I feel I know exactly where you’re coming from! I’m keen to see what happens with Wealthy Affiliate.

    • Paul says:

It is true that we learn valuable lessons by trying new things out. At pbworkfromhome, the goal is to try and help people find or consider new options to try out. Some may end up being way out o someone’s comfort zone, but you never know what will spark someone’s interest.
wealthy Affiliate will provide you with the tools and knowledge required to start an online business. It is truly an online entrepreneur’s University. You will learn a broad range of skills that you can use not only for online business but also for everyday business skills.

  10. Philip says:

    Hi Paul,

This article made me laugh out loud a few times! What a great, pithy article, that really laid out the bare bones of MLM’s! I can definitely relate to the “born again sucker” quote! I mean, I know NLP and every now and then I get caught up in the magic of the sales pitch. Am much wiser and smarter now. Thanks for the refreshing read and timely reminder to practice discretion when it comes to “buy it now or you’ll regret it forever” spiel!

    • Paul says:

Hahaha…yes it is easy to get sucked into those on the pressure sales pitches. I do feel so much wiser since I joined Wealthy Affiliate as they provide so much training and information about other ways to make an income online, form home or from anywhere in the world that I no longer feel the urge to get involved with any MLMs ever again…

      Cheers

      Paul

  11. Mark says:

    Hello Paul and Brenda!
I love your site and will revert back to it a lot to see what is new. There are so many options for work at home and I think many are schemes. Your site shows me ways to do this and trust. Your topics are refreshing and upbeat and it makes me want to dive right in and start working from home. I hope to see more in the near future. Thanks again for all of the great info.

    • Paul says:

      Hello Mark

You are welcome. You can have access to great tools and education at Wealthy Affiliate to start any home based business. Sometimes it is hard to explain what it is we do online so I wrote a little blog about that called “Bob Only Had Bricks.”

Wish you all the best at starting your work from home opportunity.

      Cheers

  12. John says:

Thanks for this article on the best new MLM
    opportunities.
As you suggest MLM is not everyone’s cup of tea (myself included) and most of them get a pretty bad wrap.
But I do know of people that are earning an absolute fortune from them and there are a few good ones out there, so it was good to see a few that you reckon are “not that bad”
With that being said though, I am glad that I got into affiliate marketing as I believe this is a far better, and more honest to earn an income online.
I am with you on this one!
Starting your very own online business is the way to go!
    ~John

    • Paul says:

Thank you for your comment John

Sure people can make a living pretty much with selling any product but the question remains whether it is a the type of lifestyle that people want. How much is one willing to give up to succeed in an MLM business?

I’m with you too when it comes to doing affiliate marketing instead of joining an MLM.

      Best of success John

      Cheers

      Paul

  13. Nice article. Its easy to bash MLM… but I think I am qualified to defend the Direct Sales market rather than the MLM model. Here it is — am going to say it – not all MLM’s are a scam! However I would steer away from entry level deals that say “ground floor opportunity” a good company doesn’t pay the big earners solely. As for risk in new startup, Companies that are registered with the Direct Selling Association are required to offer certain safeguards such as money back guarantees. I have been with a direct sales company for over 14 years now and buy their products happily because they are good value and work. I don’t sell and and do get paid for referring others but all are covered by the money back guarantees. I have never had anyone say ” this is a scam ” And on the other side I have started quite a few bricks and mortar traditional business that I wish had come with same offer. Btw- All the best to you in WA. Colin

  14. Paul says:

Hahaha…yes sometimes people will still want to go the long way to achieving success so may as well at least help them avoid the real pitfalls with some really questionable MLMs. This list at least has some network marketing successes and most people noted that they at least were able to get the products they wanted to be covered.
    Cheers

At first, I was curious to see what type of scams you were trying to sell. I personally do not feel that any MLM is worthy to join but I stumbled on your site and it looked interesting…until I saw you had a list of best new MLMs. Then I wondered is this guy for real….but then your post explained how so many people will still join even if told straight out these type of businesses are not worth your time.
